It's today!

Post by Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz »

The General Election is TODAY! Here is every major party standing:

Tories - Right-wing, Conservatism, Thatcherism, Capitalist Pigs, Want to suck the life-blood out of the working class
Labour - Centre-left, Social Democracy, Democratic Socialism, Corbynism, Juche, The Party that will put Britain back to work
Liberals - Centre-right, Liberalism, Semi-Thatcherism, Capitalist Pigs, Will seize the opportunity to get into a coalition with Theresa May and leech off of the backs of the working class
Greens - Left-wing (claimed), Centre-right (really), Fake Greens, Fake Lefties, Fake Eco-socialists, Basically SNP/Plaid but in England
UKIP - Far-right, Populists, Big eurosceptics, Blame all the problems of the working class on the immigrants when really the truth is it is the Capitalist vermin, If they ever took power they would be very similar to the Tories economically, Of course they would leech off of the workers for their labour
SNP - Centre-left (claimed), Centre-right (really), Scottish nationalism, Pretend to be anti-austerity but they really aren't, Once they have their independence they will jump onto the backs of the Scottish working class and suck the blood out of them like vampires
Plaid - Left-wing to Centre-left (claimed), Centre-right (really), Welsh Nationalists, Basically the SNP but Welsh
Christian Peoples Alliance - Centre-right, Christian democracy, Social conservatism, Euroscepticism
Yorkshire Party - Centre, Yorkshire regionalism
Alliance - Centre to Centre-right, Social Liberalism, Capitalist dogs
SDLP - Centrist, Economically Centre-left, Socially conservative, I don't trust them and would prefer the banned Labour Party of Northern Ireland but I suppose if I lived in Northern Ireland I'd have to vote for them
SF - Left-wing (claimed) but I don't trust them, Irish Nationalists, Want Northern Ireland to unite with the Republic of Ireland (probably so that they can suck the life-blood out of the Irish working class)
DUP - Far-right, Social Conservatism, Eurosceptics, Want Northern Ireland to remain in the UK (so that they can suck the life-blood out of the British working class)
UUP - Centre-right, Economically Right-wing, Socially progressive, British Unionists, Conservatives, Capitalist Parasites
Monster Raving Loony - Satire, Funny
BNP - Far-right, British fascism, Right-wing populism, White nationalism, Ethnic nationalism, British nationalism, Euroscepticism, Racists, Nazis, Capitalists
Pirate Party - Centre, Pirate politics, Civil libertarianism, Direct democracy, Civil rights
English Democrats - Far-right, English nationalism, Euroscepticism
Northern Irish Greens - Centre-left, Seem like a reasonable alternative to the SDLP, However they are a British Green Party so I'm a bit suspicious
WEP - Feminism
SDP - Centre-right, Capitalism, Liberalism, Hard euroscepticism, Localism
NHA - Anti-Austerity
Workers Revolutionary Party - Far-left, Trotskyism
Animal Welfare Party - Animal welfare
Libertarian - Right-libertarianism, Minarchism, Classical liberalism, Euroscepticism

Young People's Party - Tax reform, Georgist, Equality
Christian - Far-right, Christian right, Euroscepticism, Social conservatism
Communist League - Far-left, Communism

It's a hung parliament!

Labour has gained the most seats and votes!

Tories are the largest party but not enough seats to form government! They will have to go into coalition, most likely with the Liberals or DUP.

Liberals are back as the third largest party by votes!

UKIP have been drastically defeated!

SNP lost many seats to Tories and Labour!

Wow!! May will probably resign, and there is likely to be another election called soon which Corbyn will most likely win.

Officially, it's a massive deal, May's going to the Queen to say they will carry on trying to govern with DUP backing, Liberals won't go near for last time getting burnt, but I agree it will have to go back to another election, they won't be able to get anything through parliament.
Labour has gained the most seats and votes!
Since last time yes, the swing is amazing, massive surprise wins in Tory bumpkin safe towns they never thought they would ever have to defend, turned mostly by young people!

Tories are the largest party but not enough seats to form government!
They came up with their manifesto in a tiny room of top cabinet, Labour reached out to all their members and union, now they'll have to water down Brexit and start listening to all MPs in parliament to do deals, she's lost all legitimacy and will be booted before it goes to another election.
Liberals are back as the third largest party by votes!

UKIP have been drastically defeated!
Fab that UKIP have gone, Liberals still don't have broad popular appeal back enough to get in with proportional representation, Nick Clegg getting his comeuppance was oh too sweet.
SNP lost many seats to Tories and Labour!
SNP allowing Tory come back in Scotland is pretty damming, but good Labour are back equally. The only way they could go was down from total dominance because of proportional representation and general sentiment for independence after empty promises from Cameron, even though they only lost 2% of vote share, DUP winning big in northern Ireland for only winning 0.3% is big problem too, going to heighten tentioins in the province with stranglehold on Tories.
Wow!! May will probably resign, and there is likely to be another election called soon which Corbyn will most likely win.
One can only hope, amazing night, Tories officially have to give up the 'strong and stable' mantra for being laughable now with promising Brexit referendum and calling early election no one wanted.
