Holy shit, that cover photo. That's hilarious. I actually suspected it was a parody account for a second. Oh my god. Why. How did we elect a person as President of the United States who talks like that? Seriously.

The Dutch liberal (classical; libertarian) party VVD wants to ban companies from calling their product "vegetarian [meat product]" because "if it says sausage sandwich, it should contain some sausage". They think the names are misleading.

A journalist tweets in response:
"Very confusing when VVD people are reffered to as liberals. Maybe ban that too?"

Kind of a stupid and silly question, but: Do you guys think internet memes are a worthwhile method of promoting veganism? I've seen some people say that they became communists because of communist memes, so I wonder if the same could apply to veganism.

Definitely. Just see how popular Vegan Sidekick is. In this day and age where everyone has a 2 second attention span, memes are excellent

Yeah that's what happened when Trump was elected President.

"But I feel there's nothing I can do."
Well, I can change the channel. :)

They sound kinda shitty live anyway.

Kryptonite was fun in GH5. While I dislike that they'd associate themselves with the Donald, I'm not going to religously avoid them now like I've heard some people on other forums saying they'd do. I do wonder if their career/popularity will take a hit from this, though I could see the reverse happening too, and they haven't had a hit in a while so I'm guessing that they thought that they didn't have much to lose with doing this.

YES.
Jeremy Corbyn is to antisemitism what Margaret Thatcher was to the anti-apartheid movement.

It seems that Greenpeace actually was useful at its beginnings.
