Vote Red for President of the United States in 2056!

Post by Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz »

Red is running for President of the United States and has asked me to be his running mate. I have accepted his offer, despite the fact that I am not American, was not born in the USA and want the USA to burn.

I have no idea what Red's policies would be, but I imagine that since he asked me to be his VP, they are probably pretty similar to my own, which I outlined in his thread "Political Parties":

-Establish Socialism
-Take your guns away (The Second Amendment only applies to a militia - Commissar Corbyn's personal red guard)
-Separate church and state and replace "God" on money and national monuments with "Juche and Songun"
-Send all the United States populace to de-Nazification programmes that will tell them about how capitalism and imperialism are evil and have corrupted the United States and how the Americans need socialism, GMOs, nuclear power, marijuana, LGBT rights and birth control.
-Brainwash the United States youth from an early age to accept love and peace as a way of life
-Give all Americans free healthcare, free housing, free education, free transport and free breadsticks
-Send Orange Man, Mike Pence, Hillary Clinton, Ajit Pai and all other bastard yankee politicians to a re-education facility in Pyongyang
-Decriminalize all drugs and reform the DEA to become the "Drug Encouragement Agency" and encourage the yankees to take their drugs, by force if necessary
-Ban meat eating and give Americans "synthetic meat" that is really just brocolli but they are so addled by the drugs we have given them that they think it is a beefburger
-Ban gambling
-Put tracking chips in all Americans and have them constantly watched by the British government
-Make the yankees spell it "colour" and not "color", and pronounce "tomato" as "to-MAR-to" and not "to-MAY-to", any yank who resists will be given more drugs until they do it right

So, as you can see, if Red becomes President, he will hand the United States over to the control of Corbyn's Britain and Kim Jong-un's reunified Korea. At least I hope so. Maybe his plan is really to gas all Jews and legalize paedophilia. Red, if that is the case, then I do not want to be your VP.

Here are some other policies I would recommend Red implements:
-Change the electoral system to one of Proportional Representation
-Legalize euthanasia in all states
-Remove the Confederate flag from all govt. property; it is a symbol of hate, specifically those who seceded from the United States specifically to preserve slavery, and it has no place on government buildings
-Abolish the death penalty; Far too many people are innocently convicted

Some of the things my running mate is saying are actually policies that I'd try to enforce.

I actually have a ton of ideas for a domestic program called "The Red Deal." I doubt Congress will cooperate with a tenth of these, and a lot of these are overly ambitious, but these'd be great for a better America (can't quite get to the rest of the world, but it's good to start somewhere).

Health
-Quality universal health care under the AHS (American Health Service, similar to the UK's NHS).
-Everyone will be automatically signed up to be an organ donor, and they can opt out at any time.
-Legalize abortion nationally.
-Increase Stem Cell Research and similar fields.
-Increase use of GMOs for more healthful, and bountiful fruits and veggies.
-Increase funding for research on diseases such as cancer, ALS, etc.
-Legalize euthanasia in all states.

Environment
-Increase wilderness preservation, land is not to be taken down for commercial use unless approved by the government. Government can use land of deemed necessary.
-Increase regulation of corporations harmful impact on environment.
-Increased plantation of trees.
-Outlawing of packaging peanuts.
-Increase use of alternative energy (nuclear power in particular) and increase research so as to improve efficacy and safety of other energy alternatives.
-Decrease reliance on oil and fossil fuels.
-Increased hunting regulations (unless done if you actually need the food to survive).

Social
-Overhaul prison system (focus on rehabilitation methods that are proven to be more effective, since it's probably true that prison punishes criminals rather than teach them why what they did was wrong).
-Fix Electoral College (National Popular Vote Bill).
-Increased regulation on guns.
-Meat, egg, and dairy tax (without a doubt will be largely unpopular).
-Transition from paper money to polymer money (much cleaner and more healthful, lasts much longer).
-Increase regulations of corporations and businesses to ensure the health and well being of their workers.
-Decrease military spending.
-Legalize medicinal marijuana, decriminalize smoking of it.
-Regulate Indian Gaming.
-Increased soda tax.
-Increase cigarette prices (and possibly alcohol).
-Improve public transportation (make them cleaner, more plentiful, make all of them environmentally friendly, and possibly make them free).
-Establish more public charities (not donated to by tax dollars, rather altruism by the people).
-Change "In God We Trust" on the money to "In Humanity We Trust". I know that sounds lame, but we are a nation that separates church and state.
-Higher taxes on the rich.
-Attack social issues scientifically, and create a science-based society.
-Increase aid for scientists.
-Outlaw the hell out of bottled water.
-Increased protection for consumers.
-Increase forensics for crime solving.
-Housing for the homeless.
-Increased welfare and food stamps for severely struggling families.

Education
-Improvements on education system (that'll be an entire agenda of its own).
-Education for the poor on financial issues.
-STEM programs will be made free.
-Create media (particularly on television) for education. Improve PBS and NPR (refund the latter, seriously), and create new programs that each teach a new subject. Meaning that there will be a different channel for math, science, technology, then history, arts and culture, philosophy, and language. I honestly do not trust privately owned educational television (look at the History or Discovery channel).
-Create more education programs to encourage a healthier lifestyle, so as to battle obesity, heart disease, diabetes etc., without needing to do research for a cure.
-Create more education programs to encourage safer sex (or even celibacy if you want to go further), in order to stop the spread of AIDS and other STDs.
-Education programs to courage converting to electric cars, or at least minimizing fossil fuel usage.
-Discourage excessive smoking and drinking.
-Education programs to encourage cutting down on meat consumption, and eating vegetarian or possibly vegan diets, and to plant their own gardens if they can.
-Increase education to encourage altruism and utilitarianism.
-More education programs to encourage greener behavior (recycling, minimizing energy usage, etc.)
-Create more social programs for at risk youth.

Foreign Policy
-Reinstate TPP, add improvements.
-Increased role in UN.
-Offer increased aid to poorer nations.
-Offer support to nations if they are heavily attacked, plagued, or being hit by a natural disaster or famine by sending troops and other aid.
-Encourage Detente with North Korea.
-Send previously outlawed bottled water to nations that lack clean water.

And no, I will not remove the Confederate flag, as most people who use it don't advocate for slavery (but are likely dumb in general), it violates the first amendment, and it remains as a staple of American History.
And I don't know what to do about the death penalty to be honest. I think the increase in forensics can help decrease the amount of innocents accused though.

Ah yes, this is my vision of America (there are definitely things I am missing or forgetting too).

Sounds like every conservatives worst nightmare, eh?

What say you, Mr. Vice President?

And what does delet mean?

Now will everyone here vote for me?

Your policies are actually brilliant!

I'm not saying to ban it, but to remove it from government property. There is a huge difference. Stopping ordinary people from using it violates the first amendment. Stopping the government from using it means that the government endorses in no way the Confederate States.

I also don't care that it is a staple of American history - You do not see the Nazi flag flown on government property in Germany, despite that being an important staple of German history.
And I don't know what to do about the death penalty to be honest. I think the increase in forensics can help decrease the amount of innocents accused though.
Just one innocent I think is too many to allow capital punishment to exist.
Fix Electoral College (National Popular Vote Bill).
Why a National Popular Vote and not Proportional Representation?

But again, as I said, your policies are actually brilliant. I'm now genuinely excited for a Red run for presidency! You need to actually run!!

What does everyone here think of a Red/Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz ticket?

Oh yeah then, remove it.

I think there have to be other factors to be taken into account, such as tax dollars going to keeping the prisoners alive.
However, I think with a stronger, well funded education system, we'll see less crime, and the issue will become less important.

Because personally, I believe most people are dumb. I mean, look who's in the White House now and 10 years ago.

I hope you're not being sarcastic.

Which policies are your favourites? Which do you have quarrels with?

I would rather tax everybody within an inch of their lives than have just one innocent person dead.

Well, both of those individuals didn't get in due to getting the support of most people.

[/quote]

My favourite ones are an American Health Service modeled on the British NHS and improved ties with the DPRK.

I have quarrels with some that I believe don't go far enough such as the NPV (I would make it Proportional Representation) and legal medical marijuana (I would make all drugs legal; the war on drugs in the USA has failed utterly).

And yes, I was being sarcastic when I said you need to actually run, because you are actually running! Right? And I'm going to be your VP, aren't I?
