It's a good pop song. I prefer Hold the Line, but Africa is still solid. 6/10

Pretty good, very upbeat. I like when it was just instrumentals, the vocals I didn't really care all that much for. But the majority is instrumental, so that saves it. 7/10.
Skip to 1:07 for the part that's really good.

This is one of those songs that is... it sounds ok at first, but then the tune gets kind of repetitive in an irritating way (for me). No offense. :P
5/10, because I kinda like the way he sings.

You guys are going to find this song... interesting. :)

I thought we were supposed to give at least 2 sentences about why we rate it so and so.

To be fair all I could think of whilst watching was ra ra Rasputin by Boney M, it made me chuckle that there is actually un-ironic glam Russian pop group doing it for real, not my style but good presentation, repetitive but to be expected with ginguistic pop music. 5/10 for sound, 9/10 for effort?
Genuine parody this time, good comedy, good guitar, so 8/10 but wouldn't hold my interest because feels like parodying the past rather than expression of something current.

OK let this wash over you, put it on in the background and picture yourself in a smoke filled basement lounge, with all the sorrow and spirit of surviving under the red terror years of dictatorship:

They are obviously very talented, real artists, but I've never liked this kind of music - it sounds unpleasant to me. I'd have hated to hear it in the scene which you described, as it feels like the song drains the joy out of me. 5/10 purely in acknowledgement to their skill.
