Wow, that's a lot of ducks o.o

Here's a video of Madelyn Murray O'Hair speaking at a convention of American Atheists in 1972.

The carnist team was pretty bad. It's always useful to be on the team that has it right to present the stronger case. 8-) We have a topic on this debate here:

No problem. It's great that these debates are being done (especially at scales like these), so that the subject gets a bit more attention. Did you also watch the debate on TheVeganAtheist's YouTube-channel (link)? Ultimately we just need people to know about the issue and ethics behind our choices, so that it can get more mainstream.

Yes, Dan pronounced that he would be less active for some time. Either that has to do with it, or he just forgot.

I did, but I thought both sides were rather weak. The arguments from the carnivore side were ridiculous (they had like, a chef and a farmer?) but the veg*ns (they kept using the term vegetarian for some reason) barely punished them for it. The reason I loved the debate I posted is because the vegans a) had an actual health expert b) actually used the term vegan c) kicked ass.

Christopher Hitchens vs 4 Christians - Does God exist? (Including William Lane Craig)

Edit: Correction, 5 christians. The moderator speaks more than the debaters.

It has been some time ago that I also watched this one. From what I remember Hitchens didn't do so well on average.

And it was the most annoying one of them all.

I'm watching it for the first time, I think Hitch is quite strong.

Yes, damnit he's annoying. As a moderator should you not realize that there are already 4 people debating against him, thus your input is not in any way necessary?
