Re: Soft Sciences Vs. Hard Sciences

I assumed you know, but I can never be certain with that stuff. I also took for granted you were aware of the arguments used against animal testing of medications, it turned out you weren't. And arrogant Teo is back again! Are you referring to Bite Sized Vegan's video? I am well aware that wh...

Will she let you get a motorcycle or e-bike?
Probably, but I'm not really interested in losing my head.

Edit: No, she will never let me ride a motorcycle (she knew two people who died in accidents, so maybe that's why? Or maybe she doesn't think I'm really all that great at driving yet).

Re: Soft Sciences Vs. Hard Sciences

OK, sorry, Red, now I see the first part of my last post would be very unclear to somebody who is not aware of the Non-Euclidean geometry, and I don't know if I can expect you to be. It was late at night when I was writing that. Please don't patronize me, I know what Non-Euclidean geometry is. Look...

Re: I don't really want a car but I guess I'm gonna have to get one

Well in New York they are!!!! I see like 5 of them a day! Oh, well you can check the price. The trick is that there need to be a lot of older/used ones, because that's where spare parts come from. If there haven't been a lot of them around for 5-10 years that's going to make it more expensive. Ugh,...

A small Chevy or Honda would probably be your best bet.
That might work, but there's still time.

Re: Soft Sciences Vs. Hard Sciences

Well, like I've said many times, this really depends on what we mean by mathematics. Mathematics doesn't need to deal too much with quantities. In physics, the word math usually signifies arithmetic, calculus (fundamental laws of physics almost always include integrals and derivatives) and algebra....

Re: #uglyveganfood cooked in North Borneo

I am not so sure I will excel in culinary arts but I'm really enjoying watching vegan cooking shows on YouTube, and my all-time favorite is Vegan Black Metal Chef | https://www.youtube.com/user/VeganBlackMetalChef I'm not familiar with him. Do you often cook what he cooks, using his methods? What t...

Re: Soft Sciences Vs. Hard Sciences

I think you are getting the point. Yes, it would be great if there was some mathematical formula that describes how languages change probabilistically, yet alone exactly. But, if you think you have found one, you are more likely to be crazy than to have actually fond one. How can anybody honestly e...
