Re: questions about vegan diet and diabetes.

I'm surely not an expert and can't give any advice. But this video (http://nutritionfacts.org/video/how-to-treat-diabetes/#sources) can be a good starting point to get information you need. Well not the video itself, as it doesn't contain any diet related information, but sources it's based on. Hope...

Re: Effective Activism

You should just stick to plant based, HCLF is not evidence based, and is more of a dogma or personality cult with advocates like McDougall (who is unfortunately a very visible quack, and he undermines the scientific credibility of plant based diets). You are right, it is poorly picked statement and...

Re: Veg-diet & workout - am I missing out on something?

If you're going for bulking, the fiber in the beans may make it hard to eat enough of them, so an "isolated" source like a protein powder may be beneficial/easier since you can just drink it. This is true. I've gained 6 kg (to a total of 74 kg, which is big achievement for me) over last half of the...

Re: Effective Activism

Mercy for animals has a good article on "the V word" http://www.mercyforanimals.org/v-word I agree with their article about avoiding "the V word", vegans are perceived as sect and term "vegan police" is also very widespread. In my experience, it gets more attention to say that you are on HCLF plant...

Re: Hi or "Ahoj"

We had a similar transition into veganism. I started off just trying a plant-based diet for a week to see how I felt, after only a few of days I felt so much better that I never turned back, and I've been plant-based ever since. But the longer I went without meat I began to look at it differently. ...

What's the political situation in your country? I'm in America, and it's crazy. I'm sure you know about the rise of Donald Trump. Sorry for the very long delay... Personally things were quite busy for last few weeks. Political situation is quite unsatisfactory, because our president (MiloŇ° ...

Re: Vegan with Science

Nice article, but it's a pity that there are no sources linked. It would be interesting to read more on this topic, which interested me since watching Cowspiracy.
