Re: Carnism as compared to Statism

Governments did not exist for the majority of human history. What makes you think that's the case? The first written documents are about taxation. And somebody has been forcing people to go to war way before recorded history Teo, the written word has been around for about 5000 years. Humans have be...

Re: Cat policy

If you were to breed thousands of lion fish, that would be an action YOU are taking, which falls under human morality. Cats killing birds with no human intervention has no moral implications, So how do you think the cats got there? Do you think it is ok to kill lion fish if someone else put them th...

Re: I'm new here!

The protein in tofu (and many vegetables) is actually quite high. You may have the impression that you are eating more since vegetables are made up mostly of water. Re: Moral veganism and support of government

People here are convinced government can and often is based on science, and nothing you say is going to convince them otherwise. Not only that! People here are convinced that the earth is round, and nothing you say is going to convince them otherwise. Most of the active posters on this forum are fi...

Re: Cat policy

I don't see how anyone concerned with the rights of animals could wholly ignore the rights of humans. Very strange intro. Writing legislation is never the solution to any problem. If you want I can make a long list of legislation that has solved problems. I'll start my naming one: DUI laws to reduc...

Re: Hello everyone!

Welcome Harperwhite, We are certainly not as friendly as Vegans United and other vegan forums, but unlike many other forums most of us write the truth (even when it's inconvenient), and challenge those who don't. Anyway, congratulations on making the transition to veganism. Did your mother also beco...
