Re: "Unnatural" don't exist.

Nah because the definition is human specific. So, in all the universe only human actions are unnatural? Beings from another world arriving here in space ships far advanced of any technology we could ever dream of would be as natural as a beaver dam, which is as natural as any rock. But a human make...

I guess humans would be natural, but things we make aren't.
Would that apply to other species building things too? Like a beaver dam?
If not, why not?
Nah because the definition is human specific.

By this definition, unnatural does exist.
Are humans natural or unnatural? Does our existence not derive from nature?

Re: Zero Waste Veganism Questions

Thanks for the replies everyone. Could you elaborate on this? As the great Reverand Phelps answered when dodging questions from the evil documentarian Louis Theroux about why he thought his small congregation were the only people on Earth pure enough to ascend to heaven during the coming rapture... ...

Re: Zero Waste Veganism Questions

Thanks for the reply. What would you say about buying something that you can only find in plastic, but isn't a vegan replacement product? Such as berries. Also on this page: http://philosophicalvegan.com/viewtopic.php?t=3328 it says "brimstoneSalad has written somewhere that he promotes utility effi...

Zero Waste Veganism Questions

What are your thoughts on zero waste veganism? I have some questions about it. The amount of plastic in the ocean is obviously problematic, and so I've been reducing the disposable plastics I use. I had a thought though, maybe it's actually a good thing to buy vegan products (such as non dairy milk ...

Animal glue in shoes

I want to buy some new shoes, but I don't want ones made with animal glue. I emailed some shoe companies to find out if they use animal glue, and most of them say they don’t know because it depends on the factory, so they can’t guarantee they’re free from animal glue. Would it be vegan to buy shoes ...

Stopping youtube comments getting filtered?

This might seem like a weird forum to post this in, but this is the best place I can think of to post this since there are probably people on here who have had the same problem as me, and might be able to offer some help. I post quite a bit of comments in the youtube comments, having debates with pe...

Are sweatshops ethical to buy from?

Are sweatshops ethical to buy from? I think they are because they create jobs for people, and people have a choice whether or not to work there, but a lot of people say it's bad to buy from sweatshops so maybe I'm wrong, so before I buy from aliexpress again I want to hear some opinions from here.
