Re: Is it risky for babies to be vegan?

As far as I can tell, this is what we have: Yes, a strict vegan diet is adequate for pregnant women US 1. Position of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics: Vegetarian Diets. Re: Vegan Daughter Refuses to eat with Non-Vegans

I'll offer a slightly contrarian opinion. At 22 you are not a child anymore and I think it's necessary to learn that the world doesn't bend to your will. How long has she been vegan? If the answer is "more than two years" (it has already become part of her identity), then what I'd do is talk with he...

Re: Need assistance

Thanks everyone for your reply. Yes, but we are animals and we can synthesize the the forms used by the body form cyanocobalamin (the most common form of B-12 supplement). I'm still waiting for her reply on this, but that day she told me that it's not the same. Her claim was that this particular for...

Need assistance

Hi guys, Long time no see. Some days ago I debated veganism with a medical student. Re: The Issue with Gary Francione and Deontological Veganism?

Given that, what the hell are universal properties? Freckles are an example of a universal property and being oneself is an example of something that isn’t. Why can’t I universalize myself unto others if I can universalize my freckles unto others? I am not an expert, so take this with a grain of sa...

Re: Isaac's debate challenge and past DMs/emails

I think it would be great for the forum if you debated him. But I also believe that the inferential distance between you and AY is too big (and AY is too big of an asshole) to have a fruitful conversation. Maybe you can choose a different format?

Can you link me to the video, Nonzero? Youtube says her latest video was on "The non-profit industrial complex" (apparently against Singer and EA).

The asymmetry argument is really bad.
Have you listened to the conversation between him and Sam Harris, Brim? Benatar doesn't seem to be much of a debater.
