Re: vegans and antropomorphism

" You don't know what platonic forms are, but you're talking about them unwittingly. " You are assuming stuff again...and attacking straw man again. You didnt ask for clarification, you didnt ask me to expand on that, you just assumed how it is Platonism and then you proceeded to attack that straw ...

Re: Why do so many look up to vegan gains and ask yourself?

brimstoneSalad I am sorry for the time you spent writing that, but I have no interest discussing with you. You already established that I am the stupidest person on this forum, so discussing with very stupid people would be just the waste of your time. Hopefully you read it, because it answered you...

Re: Sam Harris and Ben Shapiro Debate

I am not familiar with the Gary Taubes interview, but why do you think Sam Harris is downright ignorant on politics? It's a reasonable assumption about the average person without a degree or professional experience in it. I wouldn't be prepared to debate this guy on the spot either. If Harris think...

Re: Bernie Sanders- Does He Have A Chance?

Although, I live in a solidly partisan state, so I might vote for a third party anyway, because my vote doesn't matter because of the electoral college. So... yeah :) Trump might be the independent candidate if he doesn't get the Republican nomination. There's a historically small but still very re...

Re: Is meat consumption up?

I also look at how much is being invested by meat and dairy companies and where. Smithfield knows and understands the global market much better than I am guessing even the USDA. While it is true they are investing in clean meat, (some money) they are also investing in huge expansions of their exist...

Re: Jellies and jams/ Gelatin

Then you'd need to explain the contradictory guidelines where by-products are "non-vegan" but organic produce is vegan. I already explained it, I said people aren't that smart about pseudoscience and organic is hard to fight (may not be worth the effort). I didn't say I liked it or agreed with it. ...

Re: Why do so many look up to vegan gains and ask yourself?

No, you didnt tell me what is "good", nor what is "bad". In your previous message you mentioned the word "bad" only once, and used it to assert something, not to explain me what "bad" means. When we're talking about good and bad in the context of discussion on morality, we're talking about moral go...

Pick Up Limes is OK, although some of her lunch idea videos, particularly the kids/school lunch ones, make me feel like she's not very realistic.

Great production value, and a ridiculously high sub count though... so that's good if she's reaching people. She has some very good videos.

read Oppenlander's book (and just bear in mind that even though the 51% GHG figure from Cowspiracy is overblown, there's good reason to think that the 14.5% is a safe lower bound A bit off topic: We need to do a wiki article discussing the GHG emission figures. Did you mention somewhere you'd read ...

Re: Vegan Thunderdome, many advocates enter, only 5 leave alive.

Not sure how appealing Mic would be to non health conscious vegans. Or health conscious vegans who aren't fond of his dogmatic opposition to any and all oil, and the intellectual dishonesty he engages in to obfuscate the truth that not all oils are the same. I would swap Mic out for Healthy Crazy C...
