Are there any emoticons that people would like? Maybe it would be better to add new ones instead of replacing the old ones.
I'm not sure what people would use.

Can you take a shot at making expressions with that edited bunny?

Re: Dealing with identity politics / intersectionalism

If you treat it as intersectionality lite, you might be able to push a middle ground. If people don't accept that in light of the evidence, I'd just write them off as dogmatists until they grow up a bit. What is the middle ground? The intersectionality lite that article explains. Single issue campa...

Re: Law of excluded middle

This would be circular, a "valid argument" is defined by some respective logic. "Valid argument" isn't a natural phenomena that is being researched, its a definition with respect to a specific logic. That's a pretty strong borderline-subjectivist metaphisical claim. Something doesn't have to be a "...

Re: Law of excluded middle

The hypothesis are different but they attempt to describe the same phenomena. Occam's razor doesn't make sense if you're comparing hypotheses for different subject matters. Couldn't it be said that logic describes the phenomena of valid argumentation? Carnap is right here. It's hard to think of a g...

Faunalytics has a good article on the issue: https://faunalytics.org/intersectional-advocacy-tends-to-bring-in-less-money/ If you treat it as intersectionality lite, you might be able to push a middle ground. Re: Animal emoticons

I edited your pig.
Something like this may work. It doesn't give you a lot of space to work with, though.

Re: Animal emoticons

That could be fun, but I think the ears might pose a problem with size.
To be recognizable as a bunny they need to be longer and originate closer to the center of the head. Reference some cartoon bunnies for an example.
I think it would be hard to pull off at that size (maybe not impossible).

Re: Animal emoticons

That looks cool, your pixel art skills are pretty good!
I'm not sure if people would use them or not.

I think the wink, grin, smile, laugh, eyeroll, and devil get the most use.

Re: Why isn't Psycho vegan?

Ends can justify the means, but due to human bias in order to do that the ends should be MUCH higher stakes than the means, otherwise we might convince ourselves that something is OK when in reality we misjudged the situation. Because of rounding errors? More rationalizing and self-deception due to...

Re: Gardening and a question

As I understand it, rats are not good jumpers like squirrels are. Seems like you'd only need to protect a small strip around the garden.
