Starting A Youtube Channel

Post by Red »

Ok, so, as the title suggests, I want to start a YouTube channel. I know that right now, it's starting to lose popularity due to the broken Copyright system, but that's besides the point. I want a catharsis that can reach people on the internet that I've never seen. I want to be able to express myself through video format. I used to have videos on my current channel, and they got about 500 views each, and go some decent reception, but I want to start fresh, instead of having different genres on videos mishmashed onto one channel. Since July of 2015, I started watching the channel I Hate Everything, which got me inspired to make videos just talking about my opinion on matters. I like his idea of having a character talk on screen, like GradeAUnderA or ArmouredSkeptic does. I'd talk about stuff like video games, movies, or animation, but not anything political like atheism or veganism. I want to make channel that appeals to people who aren't willing to get into the aforementioned subjects, or anything else like politics. Maybe I'd make a video as to why I don't talk about it, but I digress.

Anyway, do you think I should make Youtube videos as a way of catharsis?

I'll explain tomorrow. Essentially I just am bored of them, but I'll explain more.

It's not about the views. Even if just 15 people saw it, if one of them got something out of it, that's good enough for me.

I think it'd be most meaningful if they got something out of it about helping the world, which would be achieved by tackling those controversial issues.

By political issues, I was referring to the whole Sanders nonsense. By the way he's losing New York.

What do you mean 'nonsense'?
You mean the fact that Bernie Sanders, supposedly a fringe candidate with no shot, is running a campaign of integrity that is posing a serious challenge to Hillary (a recent national poll has him beating her- nonsense, right?), and would destroy any republican running according to polling?

Hillary Clinton is expected to win NY. She was Senator there, and she has strong name recognition. What's your point?

He's made extreme gains in NY polls, and the last poll has him behind by far less than Michigan polls had him behind (Michigan, the state he won in an unprecedented victory that was one of the greatest political upsets in our modern election history- it's all just nonsense, though).

I meant in the sense that I don't want to bother talking about it. Plus, Sanders needs to win New York for a better chance of winning the election.
